Zev Bufman

Zev Bufman (later Zev Buffman ) ( Hebrew זאב בופמן, Born October 11, 1930 in Tel Aviv ; died March 31, 2020 in Seattle ) was an Israeli actor and theater producer.

Life and work

Zev Bufman was the son of Mordekhai and Hayah (Torban) Bufman. He made his stage actor debut in Tel Aviv in 1950, but went to the United States in 1951 , where he also worked as a producer from 1958, a. a. on New York Broadway . It was initially based in California and later in Florida . In 1973 he produced the film The Naked Ape based on Desmond Morris' bestseller of the same name .

Bufman's first marriage was to Leah Debora Habas, from whom he was divorced. His second marriage was to Vilma Greul Auld.
