Carl Heinrich Willink

Carl Heinrich Willink (born October 28, 1807 in Hoffnungsthal ; † September 12, 1875 in Lokstedt ) was a Hamburg merchant and politician.

Life

Willink lived from 1832 to 1845 in St. Thomas , Danish West Indies , where he was a partner in the company Schön, Willink & Co. , which he owned together with August Joseph Schön . He then became a co-owner of the Hamburg company Aug. Jos. Schön & Co. and returned to Hamburg around 1849. In addition to his professional activity, Willink was involved in local self-government. In 1856 and 1857 he worked as a commercial judge, from 1858 to 1864 he was a member of the Finance Deputation, the Teerhof Deputation and the Fire Fund Deputation.

From 1859 to 1871 Willink belonged to the Hamburg citizenship .

family

Willink's daughter Emily Henriette Willink (March 14, 1840 - March 27, 1858) married Wilhelm Amsinck on May 28, 1857 . On November 7, 1863, another daughter of Willinck, Laetitia Sophie Willink, married the widowed brother-in-law Wilhelm Amsinck.
