Carl Heribert Egbring

Carl Heribert Egbring (born November 27, 1881 in Meppen , † June 5, 1955 in Bonn ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1951 to 1955 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

After attending a grammar school in Meppen, Egbring began his studies in Münster and Berlin. After completing his studies, he worked as a writer and journalist. He later became an advisor to the press office of the Reich Government and rose to the position of Ministerialrat in the Reich Ministry of Food and Agriculture. He resigned from the civil service in 1935 and worked as a freelance representative for industrial companies. In 1939 he became managing director of the fertilizer specialist group and the fertilizer working group in Berlin. After the end of the war, he was elected mayor of the Goldenstedt community in 1945 . In 1946 Egbring became the deputy director of the Weser / Ems farming community.

Egbring was a co-founder of the CDU in the Vechta district . He was also chairman of the CDU's committee for press, film and radio in Bonn. He was elected a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the second electoral period from May 6, 1951 to May 5, 1955.
