Carl Hilm

Carl Hilm (also Karl Hilm, aka Karl August Porges) (born September 3, 1854 in Florence , † February 19, 1953 in Salzburg) was an Austrian major general and writer .

Between 1908 and 1912 Hilm became a member of the List Society.

In 1930 he married Josepha Kraigher-Porges (1857–1937) in Pozsony (then Hungary, now Bratislava ), with whom he moved to Switzerland.

The Art Nouveau artist Fidus illustrated the book editions of his dramas Hypathia and Cain , which appeared in 1903 and 1904, as well as Satan , which appeared in 1908 . He is on a list from Fidus, entitled “Participants in the Temple Covenant,” from 1911.
