Carl Holly ( January 3, 1870 in Ober-Eschach - after 1900) was a German theater actor and opera singer .

Life

Holly began his singing studies in Freiburg, perfected them at the Conservatory in Cologne, and after he had also acquired the necessary theoretical knowledge, he entered the stage career. He was engaged in Essen, Cologne, at the Hoftheater Kassel (debut role "Bandit Barbarino" in Stradella ), at the Theater des Westens in Berlin and in 1900 joined the Association of the City Theater in Freiburg, where he was best used in both opera and drama .
