Carl Johann Haubold from Bose

Carl Johann Haubold von Bose (born March 19, 1704 in Echzell (Wetterau), † October 10, 1777 in Kassel ) was the Hessian general of infantry , minister of state and governor of Kassel.

In 1721 he went to Infantry Regiment No. 3 . There he rose to lieutenant in 1727, captain in 1729 and major in 1744. In 1746 he was then assigned to the Infantry Regiment No. 1 (Guard) moved. From there he came in 1747 as a colonel in infantry regiment No. 7 and became Commander and Chief. In 1755 he came to the Grenadier Regiment and in 1760 he came to the 3rd Guard Battalion as Lieutenant General as Commander and Chief. In February 1762 he resigned from the field service and became governor of Kassel. He was appointed general of the infantry in 1775 before he died in 1777.

He was one of the first bearers of the Hessian Golden Lion Order .
