Carl Johann Herber
Carl Johann Herber (born January 10, 1788 in Nassiedel ; † November 17, 1853 ) was a German Catholic theologian .
Life
He attended the grammar school in Leobschütz and then studied for 5 years in Breslau . In 1811 he was ordained a priest and was chaplain in Tropplowitz . In 1814 he became an associate professor at the University of Breslau . In 1819 he was appointed full professor of church history and exegesis. In 1831 he resigned his professorship and became pastor of St. Vinzenz (Breslau) .
