Carl Lutherer

Carl Wilhelm Lutherer (* 1807; † 1850) was a German draftsman and lithographer .

Life

Lutherer came from Schönberg in Vogtland (today Bad Brambach ). He attended the art school of the Dresden Art Academy and received an honorary certificate from the art school in 1825. He worked in Dresden primarily with portraits of well-known contemporaries.

There are 105 works by Lutherer on the lost art database search list as losses of the Kunststichkabinett of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen in Dresden.
