Carl Muhsal

Carl Muhsal (born February 13, 1899 in Elberfeld , † April 25, 1962 in Plettenberg ) was a German politician (KPD).

Live and act

Muhsal was born in 1899 as the son of a Protestant family from Elberfeld. As a young man he worked as a community worker in Barmen . He married in 1917 and after the First World War he joined the Communist Party of Germany (KPD).

For his party Muhsal was at the Reichstag elections of September 1930 as a candidate for the constituency 23 (Dusseldorf West) in the Berlin Reichstag elected. In July and November 1932 , Muhsal ran successfully for constituency 22 (Düsseldorf East), so that he was a member of the German parliament from September 1930 until the March elections in 1933 . In 1940 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht. After being a prisoner of war, he worked again in the local company in Plettenberg, but was no longer politically active.

Carl Muhsal died on April 25, 1962 in Plettenberg.
