Carl Quicklund (born January 28, 1992 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Quicklund competed in junior races until 2012. Since 2011 he has mainly participated in the Scandinavian Cup . He came on the podium for the first time in January 2012 in Åsarna with third place in the sprint. In the 2013/14 season he took third and second place once and finished fourth in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. He ran his first race in the World Cup in November 2012 in Gällivare , which he finished with 71st place over 15 km. At the Tour de Ski 2013/14 he reached 47th place in the overall ranking. He scored his first World Cup points with 25th place in sprints in Oberhof and Lenzerheide . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun he finished 24th in the sprint. In January 2016 he came 51st in the Tour de Ski 2016 and won the bronze medal in the sprint at the Swedish championships in Piteå .
