Carl Schleiermacher
Carl Christian Heinrich Schleiermacher (born March 5, 1710 in Lauterbach , † March 31, 1781 in Darmstadt ) was a German doctor.
Life
Carl Schleiermacher was born in Lauterbach in East Hesse in 1710 as the son of the physician Ludwig Schleiermacher (1670–1716) and his wife Elisabeth Christina Schleiermacher, b. Cotta (1683–1746) born. After his medical training, he was physician in Alsfeld from 1741 and personal physician at the court of Landgrave Ludwig IX from 1761 . of Hessen in Darmstadt .
Since 1744 he was with Sophia Schleiermacher born. Gebhard (1723–1778) married. The three children Johanna Margaretha (1747–1813), Johanetta Maria (1750–1825) and Ernst Schleiermacher (1755–1844) resulted from the marriage .
