Carl Stenborg
Carl Stenborg (born September 25, 1752 in Stockholm , † August 1, 1813 in Djurgården ) was a Swedish opera singer (tenor), theater director and composer .
Life
The actor's son Petter Stenborg was initially a civil servant. From 1773 to 1806 he worked at the Royal Opera in Stockholm, where he tried to introduce the Opéra comique and the Singspiel in Swedish.
In addition to theatrical music, he composed several stage pieces, including the first Swedish singspiel, Gustaf Ericsson i Dalarne .
