Carl Valentin

Carl Valentin , also Karl Valentin (* 1885 in Düsseldorf ; † 1966 ), was a German landscape , genre and animal painter from the Düsseldorf School .

Life

Valentin was a student of the genre painter Wilhelm Schreuer and, like him, worked in Düsseldorf. He created contemplative Rhenish village scenes and landscapes in an impressionistic way of painting and impasto application of paint.
