Carl Wilhelm Rohde

Carl Wilhelm Rohde (born November 6, 1809 in Felsberg (Hesse) , † December 2, 1888 in Kassel ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Carl Wilhelm Rohde studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg and the Georg August University of Göttingen . In 1829 he became a member of the Corps Teutonia Marburg . He also joined the Corps Bremano-Hansea Göttingen and Vandalia Marburg. After completing his studies, he became an administrative officer in the Hesse region. After he had been a trainee at the district office in Kassel, he was appointed district secretary of the district office Hofgeismar in 1841. In 1850 he was the first administrative officer of the Marburg administration office . Around 1852 he became an assessor at the Kassel District Office and in 1854 an assessor at the Kassel Police Department. In 1857 Rohde was appointed district administrator ofDistrict Kirchhain appointed. After the annexation of Kurhessen by Prussia, he remained district administrator in Kirchhain. It was not until 1883 that he resigned from office due to age. Most recently he lived in Kassel.
