Carl Ziermann
Carl Ziermann (born August 18, 1850 in Saalfeld / Saale , † February 14, 1881 in Bad Berka ) was a German genre painter .
Carl Ziermann was a student of Karl Gussow , Theodor Joseph Hagen and Albert Baur at the Weimar School of Painting .
For his best-known work "The Botanist" he was awarded the Small Golden Medal in Berlin in 1878.
He took part in art exhibitions in Bremen, Düsseldorf and Vienna.
Carl Ziermann died at the age of 31.
