Carl Marie Paul Blanchet de la Sablière (born April 26, 1895 in Quimper , † October 29, 1979 in Gouesnach ) was a French sailor .
successes
Carl de la Sablière was in 1928 in Amsterdam at the Olympic Games in the 8-meter class Olympic champion . He was a crew member of L'Aile VI , which achieved three victories in seven races and thus took first place ahead of the Dutch and Swedish boats with two wins each. The crew of L'Aile VI also included André Derrien , Virginie Hériot , André Lesauvage and Jean Lesieur , while Donatien Bouché was the skipper of the boat .
