With the IX. At the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam , three sailing competitions were held on the Zuiderzee . The competitions in the 6-meter and 8-meter classes were open to men and women. The German Reich was admitted after the First World War, the first time to participate in Olympic Games.
