André Louis Marie Derrien (born July 31, 1895 in Quimper , † April 4, 1994 in Fouesnant ) was a French sailor .
successes
André Derrien was in 1928 in Amsterdam at the Olympic Games in the 8-meter class Olympic champion . He was a crew member of L'Aile VI , which achieved three victories in seven races and thus took first place ahead of the Dutch and Swedish boats with two wins each. The crew of L'Aile VI also included André Lesauvage , Virginie Hériot , Carl de la Sablière and Jean Lesieur , while Donatien Bouché was the skipper of the boat .
