Carl von Fritsch

Carl Friedrich Christian Wilhelm Paul Freiherr von Fritsch (born May 7, 1804 in Weimar , † October 24, 1892 in Dresden ) was a German administrative lawyer, diplomat and politician.

Fritsch was the son of State Minister Karl Wilhelm von Fritsch and his wife Henriette Wolfskeel von Reichenberg . He married on September 12, 1831 in Drackendorf near Jena Marie Luise Caroline Freiin von Ziegesar (* July 17, 1808 in Jena; † February 28, 1842 in Frankfurt am Main), daughter of the Grand Ducal Saxony-Weimar Real Secret Council , President of the Higher Appeal Court Anton von Ziegesar (1783–1843).

Fritsch attended high school in Weimar from 1819 and studied law in Göttingen and Jena from 1822. In 1831 he passed the state examination and became a government advisor. In 1832 he was a secret trainee lawyer. From 1840 to 1848 and from 1851 to 1864 he was the Privy Councilor of State and Minister and Plenipotentiary Minister of the Thuringian States at the Federal Council in Frankfurt am Main. In 1850 he was a member of the state house of the Erfurt Union Parliament .

From 1857 to 1863 he was entrant at Seehausen. In 1867 he took up residence in Wiesbaden and in 1876 in the tenant house on Seehausen and in Dresden. In 1836 he was appointed chamberlain . In 1857 he received the title of Real Secret Councilor and Excellency.
