Karl von Metzsch , born as Carl von Metzsch , (* February 20, 1804 , † December 3, 1880 ) was a German manor owner and politician.

Life

Metzsch was the royal Saxon chamberlain and chief court baker. As the elected manor owner of the Erzgebirge district , he was a member of the first chamber of the Saxon Landtag for the first time in 1836/37 , and from 1839 until his death he was then elected manor owner of the Vogtland district member of the chamber. He was the owner of the Reichenbach manor .

From his marriage to Sylvia von Ende (1816-1894) came the two sons Gustav von Metzsch-Reichenbach and Georg Graf von Metzsch-Reichenbach, important for Saxon history .
