Carlo Albanesi

Carlo Albanesi (born October 22, 1856 in Naples , † September 21, 1926 in London ) was an Italian composer and pianist.

Albanesi was prepared for a musical career by his father, the pianist and composer Luigi Albanesi . He performed as a pianist in Naples at a very young age. After successful concerts in Naples, he also gave concerts in Paris from 1872 onwards. In 1878 he settled there. In 1882 he moved to London, where he taught piano at the Royal Academy. He wrote about 50 works of various kinds. These included orchestral pieces, chamber music works and piano sonatas.
