Carlo Carlei
Carlo Carlei (born April 16, 1960 in Lamezia Terme , Province of Catanzaro ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter .
Life
Carlei graduated in law and then attended the Scuola di Cinema Gaumont , at the end of which in 1983 he and his classmates presented the episode film Juke Box , which was presented at the Venice Film Festival . He had previously made the short film Awakening . In 1990 he directed the television film Capitan Cosmo , in which Walter Chiari played the lead role.
Then came his breakthrough with the self-written La corsa dell'innocente , whereupon he received and accepted a Hollywood offer, but returned to Italian television at the end of the millennium.
