Romeo and Juliet is the title of a literary film adaptation produced in 2013 based on the drama Romeo and Juliet by the British playwright William Shakespeare . As with many earlier adaptations of the material, the poetic language of the dialogues is also used here. The film premiered in the UK on October 11, 2013.

action

Two families from Verona - the Capulets and Montagues - fight. At a masked ball hosted by Lord Capulet, young Romeo, a Montague, falls in love with Juliet, the daughter of Lord Capulet. Shortly afterwards, Romeo Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, kills in a duel and is then banished from Verona. Julia is supposed to marry the arrogant Prince Paris. But the love between Romeo and Juliet is stronger than the conflicts between the two families. In the end there is the well-known finale and the suicide of the two protagonists.
