Christian Louis Cooke (born September 15, 1987 in Leeds , West Yorkshire , England ) is a British actor .

life and career

Christian Cooke grew up in Leeds with his older brother and younger sister . During his school days he attended St Mary's School, Menston and the Bingley Arts Center . He began his acting career at the age of ten. His first television appearance was in a commercial for Birds Eye beef burgers .

Cooke had his first series role from 1999 to 2000 in the series Wilmot . This was followed by an appearance in the soap opera Doctors . From 2000 to 2006 he played in on ITV broadcast series Where the Heart Is the Luke Kirkwall . In 2007 he made a guest appearance in George Gently and the role of Liam Higgins in the series The Chase . Cooke also stopped by Doctor Who for two episodes in 2008 . In 2011 he was seen in a leading role in the miniseries Promised Land . From 2012 to 2013 he was on the main cast of the Starz television series Magic City . In early May 2014, his engagement for the series Witches of East End was announced. There he embodies Frederick Beauchamp , the series son of Julia Ormond's series character Joanna . Since 2015 he has played one of the leading roles in the series The Art of More - Tödliche Gier .
