Fluke is a family film that is about a person who was previously a stressed out manager, but whose soul wanders into the body of a puppy after a fatal car accident. As a dog, this person improves and only really appreciates his family in this form.

action

The stressed-out general manager and head of a construction company, Thomas Johnson, dies during an argument in the car with his friend and co-founder of the company, Jeff Newman, as his car crashes into a tree. However, he is reborn as a puppy and at first cannot remember his previous life. Since he was born to a stray dog, the animal catcher takes him and his siblings prisoner. But he managed to escape from the shelter and ended up with a homeless woman named Bella, who was very happy about him and who could make a lot of money with his extraordinary intelligence. That's why she baptizes him "Fluke", which means luck. The next day, however, Bella dies and Fluke is alone again. Fortunately for him, however, he finds another stray dog named Rumbo. He explains to him the most important things for a dog and indicates his dreams of people to his past, because Rumbo was once a person himself. A year later (when Fluke was getting bigger) Rumbo is fatally shot for trying to save Fluke from the clutches of common doctors who try cosmetics on animals. After Rumbo's death, Fluke goes in search of his human family. He eventually finds her and sees that Jeff has taken over both the company and his family (his wife Carol and son Brian). Fluke only remembers the argument with Jeff and wants to keep him away from his family. But Jeff doesn't want the dog in the house and chases him away. Brian, who has taken Fluke into his heart, goes to find him and disappears. Fluke meanwhile assaults Jeff while driving and brings him to the accident. After the accident, however, he remembers that Jeff was his friend and always stood by him and also that he was to blame for this argument at the time. Jeff asks Fluke to find Brian in the smoking car because it's cold and it's starting to snow. Fluke finds Brian in front of his father's grave at exactly the same time as Carol. But Fluke now knows that his family is in good hands with Jeff, says goodbye and walks away. In the field he finds Rumbo in the form of a squirrel, and the two of them wander around as before. At the end you see Jeff Brian buying a dog, a Golden Retriever that looks exactly like Fluke.
