Carlo Cartier
Carlo Cartier (born September 19, 1951 in Modica ) is an Italian actor .
Before starting his theater career, Cartier worked for “Pagot Film” until 1969. The tall, dark-haired, mostly mustachioed actor made his debut with the theater cooperative “Teatro Uomo”, went to England in 1972, to Germany in 1977 and was back in his home country two years later, where he attracted attention in Piccole donne, un musical . Then Cartier was, since the 1980s, great success in numerous television series (probably best known in Un cane sciolto ) and films; for the screen it was only used in half a dozen auteur films.
A later theatrical success saw Cartier as Hercule Poirot in a stage version of Murder on the Orient Express .
