Carlo Lastricati

Carlo Lastricati (* 1921 in Rome ) is an Italian filmmaker.

Life

Like his siblings Giorgio (* 1915, assistant director and production manager) and Anna (* 1917, editing secretary), Lastricati works in film. He made his debut in 1947 as assistant director to Giorgio Ferroni and worked in various positions on numerous films until the end of the 1980s; he was the production manager for Jean-Luc Godard and Francesco Rosi , assistant to Jean Negulesco and Joseph Losey, and for numerous international productions shot in Italy. Working as a performer or organizer round off his vita. From 1982 he was also active as a producer for his own company. In 1958 he was the director of Anna di Brooklyn , supervised by Reginald Denham and lead actor Vittorio De Sica .
