Carlo Rizzo (actor)

Carlo Rizzo (born April 30, 1907 in Trieste , † July 26, 1979 in Milan ) was an Italian actor .

Life

After attending a technical institute, Rizzo, nephew of the actor Carlo Lombardo , also decided on the performing arts and initially appeared in variety shows. He was soon discovered for revues, where he quickly developed into a partner and key word for Erminio Macarios , at whose side he also made his first films from 1939. He also worked for the radio, as a voice actor and finally for television. In addition to his stage appearances with Macario, he also played in Carlo no farlo, written for him by Garinei and Giovannini in 1956, with Carlo Dapporto and alongside Wanda Osiris in I fuoriserie .

Rizzo, who is usually personable and cunning (often peasant cunning), but personifying moody characters, founded his own acting company together with his brother Alfredo at the beginning of the 1960s , but it had to be dissolved again after a short time.

Rizzo was married to the former ballerina of the Schwarz brothers, Rosita Pinkel.
