Carlo Taranto
Carlo Taranto (born October 18, 1921 in Naples , † April 4, 1986 there ) was an Italian actor .
Life
After the Second World War , Taranto got his first film role in I pompieri di Viggiù through the mediation of his brother, the actor Nino Taranto . From then on he belonged to the circle of Neapolitan comedians and actors and appeared in about 100 films, almost always in character roles for comic or musical acts. Taranto also signed up for some television roles. Taranto was mainly seen in musical reviews in the 1950s, often alongside his brother. His outstanding acting performance is mentioned in the 1957 Doctor and Warlock .
He is not to be confused with the TV presenter of the same name, born in 1961.
