Carlo Verdelli
Carlo Verdelli (born July 15, 1957 in Milan ) is an Italian journalist .
Life
Carlo Verdelli started out as a journalist in the Milan office of the La Repubblica newspaper . He went to the publisher Mondadori and worked for its magazines Duepiù and Panorama Mese . In 1986 he moved to Epoca , where he was promoted to deputy editor-in-chief. From 1994 he worked for the weekend edition Sette des Corriere della Sera , where he moved to the position of deputy editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper.
Between 2004 and 2006 Verdelli revitalized the Italian version of the weekly Vanity Fair and from 2006 onwards he popularized the Gazzetta dello Sport . From 2013 to 2015 he worked for Repubblica and then until 2017 for the Rai .
Verdelli became editor-in-chief of the Repubblica in 2019 and was dismissed on April 23, 2020 after changing ownership to GEDI Gruppo Editoriale .
