Carlos (singer)
Carlos (born February 20, 1943 in Paris as Yvan-Chrysostome Dolto , † January 17, 2008 in Clichy ) was a French singer and variety artist.
Life
Carlos was the son of the psychoanalyst Françoise Dolto and the psychoanalyst Boris Dolto (actually Doltowitsch; Carlos' father was an emigrant from Russia). La Cantine, Rosalie (a cover version of the George Plonquitte singer Typical Combo, a group from Guadeloupe), Big Bisou, Le Tirelipimpon or Tout nu, tout bronzé (“All naked, all sun tanned”) were Carlos' most famous songs. He was friends with Joe Dassin , Chantal Goya , Dave , Eddie Barclay , Jeane Manson , Stéphane Collaro and Johnny Hallyday . According to various newspaper reports, his death became known.
