Carlos Eugenio Irarrázaval Errázuriz (born April 7, 1966 in Santiago de Chile , Chile ) is a Chilean clergyman and was appointed Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Santiago de Chile .

Life

Carlos Eugenio Irarrázaval Errazuriz received on 18 May 1996, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He is a pastor in a suburb of Santiago.

On 22 May 2019 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Tanudaia and auxiliary bishop in Santiago de Chile. On June 15, 2019, the Pope accepted Irarrázaval's resignation after the appointed auxiliary bishop came under fire for controversial statements about Jews and women. The consecration planned for July 16, 2019 was canceled.
