On September 2, 2011, Fierro came in the dress of Chivas Guadalajara for his first appearance in the Mexican Primera División when he was substituted on five minutes before the end of the game in the 1-0 away win against Club Tijuana for Marco Fabián .

In total, Fierro was used in eight Apertura 2011 games. In the Clausura 2012 he was used twelve times and played three games in full: the 0-2 in Monterrey on February 11, 2012, the 2-0 against Toluca on March 24, 2012 and the 0-1 against the neighboring Estudiantes Tecos on April 1, 2012.

In the Copa Libertadores 2012 , which was so disappointing for his team, he scored the “golden” goal on March 13, 2012 to win 1-0 against Defensor Sporting Club . It was one of only two goals and the only win for Guadalajara in the tournament.

Fierro attracted a lot of attention even before he even played his first game as a professional footballer . At the 2011 U-17 World Cup , which was held in his own country , he was not only part of the squad of the Mexican U-17 team that became world champions, but also had two personal successes: on the one hand, he was voted the third best player in the tournament and was awarded the bronze ball for this; on the other hand, with his four goals he was the Mexicans most successful goalscorer.
