Carlos Méndez , full name Carlos Ignacio Méndez Cerullo , (born March 3, 1988 in Maldonado ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.84 meter tall goalkeeper Méndez was under contract with CF Brăila in Romania in 2010/11 . The two Italian clubs Licata and Fassano as well as Rampla Juniors from Uruguay are run as a further club of Méndez without a precise time allocation . In any case, he played for Universidad San Carlos in Guatemala in the 2012/13 season . There he was used six times in the Liga Nacional. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he was in the ranks of the Uruguayan second division Canadian Soccer Club and played in seven league games. He moved to Canadians' current league rival Club Atlético Atenas in early February 2014 . The San Carlos club played four games in the Segunda División in the remaining 2013/14 season . At the end of the season, his club rose to the highest Uruguayan league. In the 2014/15 season he was placed seven times in the Primera División . After the direct relegation, he was not used in the second division season 2015/16.
