Carlos "Charly" Rangel (born April 25, 1990 in Valencia ) is a Venezuelan beach volleyball player .

Career

Charly played with Fernando Ramos in 2013 . After a ninth place in a tournament of the continental series in Venezuela, they took part in the Grand Slam of the FIVB World Tour in Corrientes and finished in 33rd place. In the CSV series, they finished fifth in Bolivia and fourth in Brazil. In 2014 Charly played on the South American tour with Jackson Henriquez and Ronald Daniel Fayola Furtado and achieved two fifths and one fourth place. At the Paraná Open of the World Tour 2014 he finished ninth with Jonathan Golindano . The duo then played a CSV tournament in Ecuador. In 2015 Charly competed with Leonard Alexis Colina Chourio . After some top ten results in South America, the duo came in 41st place at the Fuzhou Open.

In 2017 Charly plays with Golindano again. In the CSV series, Charly / Golindano finished fourth in Rosario and fifth in Maringá and won the tournament in San Fernando de Apure . They qualified for the World Cup in Vienna via the CSV preliminary decision . There they lost their three preliminary round games, including against the German duo Böckermann / Flüggen , and were eliminated as the last group.
