Carlos Trovarelli
Carlos Alberto Trovarelli OFMConv (born June 22, 1962 in Cinco Salto , Province of Río Negro , Argentina ) is an Argentine religious and since May 2019 Minister General of the Minorites .
Life
Carlos Trovarelli joined the religious order of the Minorites and made temporary profession on February 15, 1986 . He made his perpetual profession on October 4, 1990. On March 25, 1995, he received the sacrament of ordination .
Before being elected General Minister , he was Provincial Minister and most recently General Assistant of the Latin American Federation of Minorites, FALC (Federación América Latina Conventuales).
On May 25, 2019, the General Chapter of the Minorites elected him to succeed Marco Tasca as Minister General for six years.
