Carlshall is a listed villa in Schönebeck (Elbe) in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the north side of the Hohen Weg at the address Hoher Weg 11.

Architecture and history

The villa, including the park-like garden, was built at the beginning of the 19th century as a hunting lodge for the Prussian Prince Carl of Prussia . Around 1860 it belonged to the city councilor and entrepreneur G. Hoyer. In 1898 the house was rebuilt. Later, the director of Elbeschifffahrtkontor AG, W. Wankel, lived in the villa.

Currently (as of 2019) the villa is in ruins and in need of renovation.

In the local register of monuments , the villa is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 61010 .
