The Carmel Wineries ( Hebrew יקבי כרמל) are the largest wine producer in Israel . Carmel mainly produces kosher bulk wines for the Israeli market, but also high quality wines that are internationally recognized.

Carmel has its headquarters in Rishon LeZion , large press and cellar facilities as well as a tasting room are also located in Zichron Ja'akow .

The founding of Carmel goes back to the Palestine Jewish Colonization Association foundation of Baron Edmond de Rothschild , who wanted to support Jewish immigrants in the 1880s.
