Carmelo Patrono

Carmelo Patrono (born before 1966) is an Italian production designer and art director .

Life

Patrono began his career in film staff in 1966 as the second assistant director on the set of the spaghetti western Yankee . The following year he worked for One Dollar Between the Teeth as a costume designer , set designer and art director. Most of his filmmaking originated in the 1970s. 1974 he was for the historical film Moon Brother Sun, Sister along with Lorenzo Mongiardino and Gianni Quaranta for the Oscar in the category Best Art Direction nominated, but the award went this year to the classic movie The Sting .
