Carol Cummings
Carol Cummings (born November 15, 1949 in Saint Catherine Parish ) is a former Jamaican sprinter and long jumper .
In 1967 she won bronze in the 4-by-100-meter relay at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg and in 1969 at the Central American and Caribbean Championships bronze in the long jump.
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she was disqualified in the 4 x 100 meter relay with the Jamaican team in the preliminary run.
In 1975 she was sixth over 100 m and eighth over 200 m at the Pan American Games in Mexico City .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and the semi- finals over 200 m . In the 4-by-100-meter relay she was sixth, and in the 4-by-400-meter relay she was disqualified in the run-up.
In 1979 she won silver over 400 m at the Central America and Caribbean Championships .
