Carole André
Carole André Smith (born March 11, 1953 in Paris ) is a French actress and businesswoman.
Life
André, the daughter of actress Gaby André , came to film at the age of 14. She has appeared in over 40 films or television roles; mostly her parts were limited to those of the good-looking woman to be rescued. She played her best-known role in the TV multi-part series Sandokan - The Tiger of Malaysia in 1976. Later she largely withdrew from acting. In 2007 she starred in two episodes of the series Un medico in famiglia .
She began studying at Harvard Business School in the early 1990s and later worked for her own public relations firm in Rome. Today she heads the international marketing department at Cinecittà . André is married to the entrepreneur and banker Luigi Abete .
