Caroline Schneider (* 1984 in Dresden ) is a German theater and film actress .

Life

Caroline Schneider was born in Dresden as the daughter of the actors' parents Heike Thiem-Schneider and Udo Schneider. When Caroline Schneider was three years old, the family moved to Berlin, where they lived in Pankow. The children attended the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Gymnasium. Even as a child, Caroline Schneider knew what she would become. She stood in front of the camera for the first time at the age of 5 and was allowed to appear on stage at the age of 13 in the children's musical "Wohin mit dem Gespenst" directed by Volkmar Neumann - together with her mother - in the Theater am Kurfürstendamm.

After numerous television appearances, she decided to train as an actress. Since she was too young at 16 and was rejected by the state schools due to her age - but with the request to audition again at 18 - she finished high school in 2004 and initially went to Hamburg, where she worked for the ARD series " St. Angela " turned. She then received a scholarship from the Berlin Film Acting School and successfully completed her acting studies there in 2008 with a diploma and admission to the ZAV. Since then she has appeared in various theaters. Most recently she was at the “Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt”, where she was invited to the Theatertreffen in Dessau with the play “Sonja's Decision”.

Since February 2013 Schneider has been a permanent member of the German Stage Hungary (DBU) ensemble.
