Carpus of Berea
Carpus of Berea (also: Karpus of Troas ) is considered one of the Seventy Disciples . He is mentioned in 2 Timothy , where Paul notes that he left his cloak with Carpus in Troas ( 2 Tim 4:13 EU ). Carpus is said to have been bishop in Berea . He is venerated as a saint ; his feast day is October 13th .
