Carroll W. Pursell

Carroll Wirth Pursell, Jr. (born September 4, 1932 in Tulare County , California ) is Professor Emeritus at Case Western Reserve University and Associate Professor of Modern History at Macquarie University in Sydney.

He was also President of the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT), whose Leonardo da Vinci Medal he received in 1991, and of the International Committee for the History of Technology (ICOHTEC).

Pursell received his PhD from Berkeley in 1962.
