Carsten-Pieter Zimmermann (born March 26, 1978 in Vienna ) is an Austrian news presenter. He became known nationwide through his work for the TV station PULS 4 ( formerly Puls TV ).

In 2006 Zimmermann presented himself for the first time as a news presenter and television journalist on Puls TV. Before that, he worked as a news anchor at Radio Max and trained at ORF . Zimmermann acquired international expertise at the University of California, Los Angeles ( UCLA ), where he completed the Professional Program In Producing at the School Of Theater, Film And Television.

In 2012, in addition to the evening AustriaNews (PULS 4 News) from ProSieben Austria , Sat.1 Austria and PULS 4, he was the news moderator in Café Puls , breakfast television.

He gives humorous comments as a moderator in the PULS 4 News studio or on site as a live reporter. With the establishment of the news channel PULS24 in 2019, Zimmermann also took on tasks as a moderator there.

Carsten-Pieter Zimmermann is the brother of Marie-Claire Zimmermann , presenter of Zeit im Bild .
