Carsten Bothe

Carsten Bothe (* 1966 ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

After graduating from high school, Carsten Bothe went to the armed forces as a reserve officer candidate (SaZ 2 ROA) for two years . He was active as a hunter from an early age. He then studied biology at the Technical University of Braunschweig (diploma). During his studies he joined a hunters' association , later the Braunschweig fraternity Germania . He also worked as a reserve officer.

Hunting was always the focus of his hobbies (such as breeding ferrets, horn, knife making) and his diploma thesis (muskrat catch). Bothe became editor-in-chief of the magazines Büchsenmacher / Messer und Schere and Katana - Die Welt der Klingen . He also founded the mail order company VENATUS and works as a freelance journalist.

From 2003 to 2005 he was editor of the Burschenschaftliche Blätter .
