Carsten Mahnecke
Carsten Mahnecke (born February 12, 1976 ) is a former German handball player .
Mahnecke started at Lauenburger SV. After playing for the A-youth regional division TuS Aumühle / Wohltorf, he moved to THW Kiel in 1995 . For the THW, he completed four Bundesliga games and one European cup game. From 1997 he played for TSV Altenholz in the 2nd Bundesliga . Between 2006 and 2012 he worked as a player-coach for the men's team at Lauenburger SV. Since the 2015/16 season he has been coaching the Lauenburger SV women's team. After the 2018/19 season, Mahnecke ended this activity. A year later Mahnecke took over the men's team from Lauenburger SV, who compete in the regional league.
