Carsten Rennhak

Carsten Rennhak (* 1971 ) is Professor of PR and Marketing in the Business Administration Faculty of the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . He has headed it as dean since 2014. From 2004 to 2013 he taught marketing at Reutlingen University . He was visiting professor a. a. at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, the SP Jain in Mumbai, the Haaga-Helia Helsinki and the Polytechnical University in St. Petersburg. From 2003 to 2004 he was also Professor of Marketing at Munich Business School . His teaching and research focuses include a. Direct sales, corporate communications and customer loyalty. He is the author of around 20 specialist books and 200 other publications on these topics. Prof. Rennhak publishes the book series Reutlinger Schriften on Marketing and Management .

From 1997 to 2003 he worked as a management consultant and project manager in the telecommunications, media, high-tech sector at Booz Allen Hamilton in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Vienna and Tel Aviv. His main focus was on issues relating to marketing and strategy in the telecommunications, media and high-tech industries.

In 2001 Rennhak did his doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich with a thesis on the effects of comparative advertising. He completed an MA in economics in Detroit and is also a Dipl.-Kfm.

He is liaison professor of the German National Academic Foundation and managing director of the sports association at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich.
