Carsten Steinert

Carsten Steinert (born February 25, 1972 in Hanau am Main ) is a German economist . As a professor for human resource management, he teaches and researches at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences .

Live and act

Growing up in Rodenbach ( Main-Kinzig-Kreis ), Steinert obtained the Abitur at the Copernicus School in Freigericht . After completing his community service, he studied economics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. This was followed by teaching at Winchester College in England. Afterwards, he obtained his doctorate in 2001 while working in the field of personnel development at the Faculty of Economics at Goethe University.

Steinert worked as a consultant in the field of human resource management and as a personnel manager for an international financial services group. During this time he was an honorary judge at the labor court in Frankfurt am Main for five years .

In 2008, Steinert was Professor of Human Resource Management at the University of Osnabrueck appointed . He took on responsibility for the Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management , one of the university's largest courses. He is also involved in numerous committees, was spokesman for the Business Administration profile and has been a long-standing member of the Faculty Council.

As a scientist, he is particularly concerned with the topic of leadership. His studies on the importance of human resource management in German companies aroused broad media interest.
