Carsten Vauth

Carsten Vauth (born July 14, 1980 in Rinteln , Schaumburg district ) is a German film director , producer and screenwriter .

Life

Vauth grew up in Porta Westfalica and made his first short films as a schoolboy. After graduating from high school, he studied film and television economics at the WAM Advertising and Media Academy in Dortmund. He completed his studies with a diploma and then founded the independent production company BigBear Film GbR in Bückeburg together with student friend Ruben Silberling . In 2009 he made the short film On Air . In 2012, the production of his first feature film Radio Silence, which is a long version of On Air, began. The film premiered at Screamfest in Los Angeles . The German premiere took place as part of the Genrenale . He has lived and worked in Berlin since 2013.
